Two professional boxers will face each other in the ring Friday night, but they are both fighting for a similar cause — honoring loved ones.
Tony Hernandez of Yuba City lost his mother, and Joeshon James of Dixon is honoring the recent birth of his 2-month-old daughter. Both fighters are part of the six-fight Pro-Boxing Card, scheduled at the DoubleTree Hotel in Sacramento.
Also happening that Friday, two female boxers will make their professional boxing debut.
