A Sacramento fighter will make his pro boxing debut Friday at local boxing event.

Malikai Alexander Johnson started off his fighting career as a kick boxer. He will officially make his professional move to boxing on the Uppercut Promotions boxing card.

The event hopes to revitalize the boxing scene in the region.
